In 2009, scientists published data which revealed that Cardarine caused cancer to develop rapidly in rats.
1. The scientist gave Cardarine to Han Wistar rats. These rats only live for 30-36 months, because they’re prone to develop a specific kind of cancer tumor — even without any chemicals.
2. These rats, who only live for 30-36 months on average, got administered Cardarine for about 24 months straight. That’s 80-67% of their natural life span.
For a human to take Cardarine for 80% of their life span, they’d have to take it for about 55 years straight.
3. The lowest dosage that leads to rapid cancer growth in the rats would be a human equivalent of 816 mg per day. The normal recreational dose for humans is 20 mg a day.
I’m not saying that Cardarine is 100% safe because it’s not. But the risk of getting cancer from Cardarine will be insanely small on a normal dosage.
If you’re that concerned about cancer… You should rather clean up your diet, avoid plastics, never walk out into the sunlight and eliminate cellphone radiation from your surroundings.
My personal philosophy on the safety of Cardarine…
I’m not a doctor and don’t give health advice. But my opinion is that it seems way safer than SARMs, which are quite mild to your health although they are NOT 100% safe.
If I was super concerned about health and longevity, I’d prefer Cardarine over any SARM or anabolic steroid.
How Should You Dose Cardarine?
The normal dose of Cardarine is 20 mg per day. And based on anecdotal accounts it’s sufficient to cause noticeable results.
In the few studies published on Cardarine, people have taken it once a day orally. Since the same studies are what proved Cardarine’s fat loss and endurance benefits, we can assume it’s okay take it once a day for good results.
For How Long Should You Take It?
Even though the cancer risks of Cardarine are overblown, it can’t hurt to limit your use of it to stay safe. I only use it during periods when I quickly want to lose fat. And I stop using it after 60 days.
